Its the 2nd Annual Race for the Rivers.

Its a 2 stage race happening Aug. 23-24, with a festival between stages.

1st stage from Washington, Mo. to St Charles, Mo.
2nd stage from St Charles, Mo. to Columbia Bottoms.

Its 68 miles over 2 days.

Come race the lower Missouri River.

Hope your having a great day. I know your going to make a thread up top with the river race next to the MR340 thread. This is a very popular race, and there it should be.
I like reading about river racing.

Your forums are starting to take some shape, and I wish you all the best.

Hey Shell,

I didnt do this race last year, but would like to try this year. I have a bathtub of a yak, so I want a new one...other than a tub! I usually borrow a friends as little as I use one.

I will get alot of your questions answered here. I just love the river, but have never raced. I almost did the MR340 this year, as was planned last year but shiuff changed. Now I met a gal that is with the Missouri White Water Ass. Missouriwhitewater.org She wants to train with me...I hope on the water some! I plan to MR340 next year.

Hey I smell a challenge. Did you say you might enter the Race for the Rivers? I might be wrong, but that dont happen often...lol.
