If you are at McKittrick Trailhead, you are at mile-marker 100.8 on the Katy Trail.
McKittrick is a quiet and quaint little town, surely a bustle in its hayday. If you're looking to stay, it offers a
bed and breakfast, a country club a stones throw away and grocery and restaurant nearby at Loutre for supplies.
If the tourist in you wants to roam, Hermann is on the other side of the bridge, south on Hwy. 19. The new bridge accomodates a
nice bike lane, for your safe passage.
